LEE McLAUGHLAN
Lee McLaughlan is the founder of Sweetspot Communications, a qualified senior UK journalist and a CIPR Accredited PR Practitioner.
He has worked as a sports journalist in both commercial radio and regional newspapers across the Midlands, covering major events including the Fifa World Cup in 2006, Wimbledon finals, European Tour Golf tournaments and all levels of football from the Premier League to non-league.
Lee worked for the PGA’s in-house communications team for more than nine years, helping to promote the sport, PGA professionals, the PGA’s training and education, as well as covering a range of golf tournaments from the Ryder Cup to regional PGA events.
For the past eight years, Lee, via Sweetspot Communications, has been operating as freelance sports PR consultant based in France, primarily working with padel clients, but also boxing and football.
